Here are a few highlights.
For those of you who have seen our weed bed, you'll see that we've made great strides yet we still have a long way to go... eventually we will have a garden and full flower bed. But, here's our start.
Our wedding gift to ourselves, was this beautiful gazebo. Kelly, Mandy and I put it up together and had a night of fun! (This is before we put the netting up and furnished it. :)
My sister-in-law Kelli came and spent two nights with us before she left for Vietnam. Kelly and Kelli went to visit the Dallas Arboretum. We loved having Mrs. Kelli here and are looking forward to hearing about her trip to Vietnam next week when we will see her for one more night.
Our dog Bullet, is slowly adjusting to life with another man in the house. Kelly has worked hard at training him to not sit on our couch. Especially since we will get new furniture and Bullet will not be allowed on our couch. We did get him a new doggie bed and as you can see, Bullet seems pretty comfortable in it!
Kelly has gone through the process of getting his car registered here in Texas. In his words, he would say, "My car is now American."
For our one month celebration we had a nice dinner at home. This year, I'm going to try and make a new dessert for every month anniversary and decorate it with our wedding cake topper. In honor of our recent trip to Florida, I made Kelly a key lime pie. (Kelly loved this dessert when we were there.)
